Physical model experiment research on evolution process of water inrush hazard in a deep-buried tunnel containing the filling fault

In deep tunnel engineering, water inrush disasters caused by filling faults occur frequently, which has generated wide interest in the fields of rock mechanics and fluid mechanics. The mass similar material was prepared with river sand as aggregate, cement a binder, clay regulator, fault composed gravel, laid good foundation for development physical model experiment. Then, using self-designed visualization test system two-dimensional deep-buried inrush, four models were changing width, cross distance, angle to study influence different hydraulic pressures. addition, evolution process disaster distribution characteristics seepage weakening failure zone, buckling excavation disturbance zone analyzed discussed. Furthermore, justification classifications risk established characterize water-inrush schemes loading pressure. research results further reveal fissures, connection, formation channels, provide an important basis reducing controlling occurrence such disasters.
